DESCRIPTION:The DESRSIT 2025 conference continues the tradition of fosterin
 g interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration among researchers, practitio
 ners, and policymakers. Building on the successes of previous editions, DES
 RSIT 2025 aims to address pressing global issues through the lens of locali
 zed solutions, emphasizing the importance of community-driven initiatives a
 nd context-specific strategies.\n\nThis year’s conference theme is “Context
 ual Design Science Research: Local Solutions for Global Challenges”.  In an
  increasingly interconnected world, global challenges such as climate chang
 e, public health crises, and socio-economic disparities require both broad 
 strategies and localized interventions. This theme encourages the explorati
 on of how grassroots efforts, regional innovations, and community-based app
 roaches can contribute to solving worldwide problems. That way we encourage
  authors to report on grassroot journeys of design science research towards
  greater societal value contribution. \n\nThe theme emphasizes the importan
 ce of developing solutions that are tailored to the unique needs and contex
 ts of different communities while addressing broader global issues. This th
 eme advocates for a bottom-up approach in design science research, where lo
 cal knowledge, cultural nuances, and specific environmental factors are int
 egral to creating impactful solutions. By focusing on the local context, re
 searchers and practitioners can design solutions that are innovative, effec
 tive, sustainable, and respectful of local traditions and ecosystems. \n\n\
